My first book, The Last to Go, a dystopian horror set in the cane fields of tropical north Australia, is now available. It’s a finalist in the highly regarded Aurealis Awards for best sciecne fiction novella.

AD Lyall lives in an inner western suburb of Melbourne (Naarm), Australia, on the lands of the Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation, where he writes dark fantasy, science fiction and horror. A graduate of the RMIT Professional Writing and Editing course, his debut novel was released in August 2023 and has since been shortlisted for an Aurealis award for best science fiction novella.
